Meet the Counselor
Welcome to Tipton High School’s Counseling page!
My name is Michele Hunolt. I began my school counselor career in 2017, and I am beyond excited to be here! The Tipton community has already made me feel very welcome and I know this is the right place for me to be.
I have been married to Doug for the last 17 years. We have two kiddos, Carson (13) and Laney (8). As a family, we love sports, movies, music, pizza and spending time with family and friends.
Education is very important to me. I have earned a bachelors and master’s degree in Psychology. In addition, I am currently finishing my Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S) in School Counseling. Prior to working in Tipton, I spent the last seven years at State Fair Community College advising, teaching and working in college and career readiness.
I chose to be a school counselor because I want to share my passion with students. As your counselor, I want to grow college and career readiness, academic and social development for every student. I want to celebrate your successes with you, and am looking forward to seeing what this year has in store!
I am here to help in any way that I can! Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns at firstname.lastname@example.org or 433-5528.

Focus on what is important, capture the good times, and develop from the negatives.
And if things don’t work out, take another shot”
