Overview
Tipton R-VI School District is seeking proposals for three outdoor tents at or near the following specifications:
*Note: these specifications are based on the US ARMY General Purpose Large Tent.
Specifications
18’ x 52’
5’8” walls and a 12-foot-ridge line-height.
At least four sidewall windows and includes a doorway at each end of the tent.
The entire sidewall must easily roll up and ties in an upright position, to provide effective and breezy air ventilation. Tent roof fitted with a stovepipe shield 4” military heater pipe.
The tent must incorporate the latest design and manufacturing technologies that provide the user with a multi-purpose protective sheltering from outdoor factors.
The tent must be ideal for numerous outdoor environments and weather conditions including rain, high winds, and humidity. Green, Tan, or White is acceptable with no prominent outer markings.
United States manufacturers preferred.
A tent liner and all poles and stakes must be provided.
The tent must be in new or good condition.
All shipping charges must be included in the proposal.
Equipment will be shipped to the Tipton R-VI School District Central Office located at 334 US HWY 50 WEST. Proposals are due in either hardcopy or in electronic form (PDF format) on or before August 15, 2020 at 12:00 pm CST at Tipton R-VI School District, Attn: Dr. Terry Robinson - Superintendent or emailed to [email protected].
E-mailed proposal documents will be time-stamped from the receiving computer. Proposal opening to be on August 10, 2020, at 6:00 pm CST at Tipton R-VI School District Central Office, 334 US HWY 50 WEST Tipton, MO 65081
Cost Breakdown
Vendors are required to breakdown the cost as written below:
1) cost per unit, please include a price for 1, 2 or 3 tents
2) service fees
3) shipping fees
SCHEDULE
Release of RFP July 29, 2020
Responses Due From Vendors August 10, 2020, 12:00 PM
Proposal Opening August 10, 2020, 1 PM
RFP Decision Release August 10, 2020
Delivery Timeline: All products must be delivered within 14 days of August 10.
Proposals stating that pricing is valid dependent upon availability and/or subject to prior sale will be considered as non-responsive. Tipton R-VI School District has the right to reject all submitted proposals and request new proposals through a revised RFP.
