Overview

Tipton R-VI School District is seeking proposals for 500 Chromebooks for student use. 

Equipment will be shipped to the Tipton R-VI School District Central Office located at 334 US HWY 50 WEST. Proposals are due in either hardcopy or in electronic form (PDF format) on or before August 15, 2020 at 12:00 pm CST at Tipton R-VI School District, Attn: Dr. Terry Robinson - Superintendent or emailed to robinsont@tipton.k12.mo.us. 

 

E-mailed proposal documents will be time-stamped from the receiving computer. Proposal opening to be on August 22, 2020 at 6:00 pm CST at Tipton R-VI School District Central Office, 334 US HWY 50 WEST Tipton, MO 65081

Release of RFP July 22, 2020 

Responses Due From Vendors August 15, 2020, 12:00 PM 

Proposal Opening August 22, 2020, 6:00 PM 

RFP Decision Release August 22, 2020 

 

Tipton R-VI School District is seeking proposals for 400 Chromebooks for student use, with the minimum specifications as described below:

 

  1. All Chromebooks must be new and not refurbished units.

  2. Item Minimum Specification CPU Intel or AMD Local Storage 16GB Minimum

  3. 32GB Option Memory 4 GB, 8GB Option 

  4. Screen Type Non-Touch, 14 inch 

  5. Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 Wireless 802.11ac (2x2) 

  6. Chrome Auto Update Expiration Date No sooner than summer 2025 

  7. Additional Requirements 3.5mm Out, Webcam, 1-year warranty 

 

Cost Breakdown

Vendors are required to breakdown the cost as written below:

1) cost per unit 

2) licensures/software 

3) service fees

4) shipping fees

 

Delivery Timeline: All products must be delivered within 90 days of a signed agreement.

Proposals stating that pricing is valid dependent upon availability and/or subject to prior sale will be considered as non-responsive.  Tipton R-VI School District has the right to reject all submitted proposals and request new proposals through a revised RFP.
