Mrs. Oehrke holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from Missouri Southern State University.  She is currently working on her master's in Curriculum and Instruction at Missouri Southern State University.  She began her teaching career at La Monte High School, then moved to Bueker Middle School in Marshall and now teaches at Tipton.  In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, coaching youth sports, reading, exercising, going to local and national parks, and spending time with family.  She has a husband, Paul, and nine children, Emalie, Eleanor (husband Rafe), Lindey, Claire, Aubrey, Owen, Hank, Merrideth, and Charlene. She also has three grandchildren, Millicent, Isla, and Mabel.
