Dual Credit
With dual credit, you can earn college credit while still in high school and fast track your education. Apply the credits you earn toward both high school and college and transfer them to other colleges. Tipton High School currently collaborates with State Fair Community College for dual credit opportunities.
Steps to Enroll:
- Talk to my counselor about qualifications for dual credit and courses being offered at Tipton High School
- Complete the SFCC dual credit application located at https://starssb.sfccmo.edu/PROD/dual_credit.student_app
- Take the ACCUPLACER
- Complete the dual credit enrollment form and FERPA release (forms are located in counselors office). Do not forget student and parent signatures! Return the forms to the counselor by the designated date.
