The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school and middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. NHS is a service organization composed of high achieving students at Tipton High School. To be accepted into NHS, a student must have an accumulative GPA of 3.33, be involved in activities, and show community involvement. Before a student can be accepted into NHS, members of the high school faculty conduct a survey to decide which students will receive entrance. |
